It's getting close to that time of year, so for those of you who may be in need of some formatted-for-printing Christmas Carol Song Sheets, I wish to draw your attention to:

Note that in "Silent Night" we have "Sleep in heavenly peace". In "O Little Town of Bethlehem" we have "Peace to men on earth". In "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" we have "Peace on the earth, good will to men". In "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" we have "Peace on earth and mercy mild". In "Do You Hear What I Hear?" we have "Pray for peace, people, everywhere", and in "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" we have "Good tidings of comfort and joy!".

Yes I know that Aristotle said "We make war so that we may live in peace", but for me, the trans-ideological beauty of Christmas is its message of peace on earth and good will toward men. Sometimes, even in war, we need to think about that. Christmas is that time for me.

Which reminds me, my comments on and the the full text of Pope Benedict's "2008 Peace Message" are now available here:

Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell shows off his musical chops with a unique version of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf".

Great Caesar’s ghost. Truly, there is no end to the man’s talents.

Whoever did the cylon identification guide like BSG almost as much as me.

David, Thanks for the link!

I thought it couldn't get much better than 'Evil Dead: The Musical', then... ahoy!

That's made my Christmas, that has.

Is it sad that I immediately knew that the Star Trek map only showed bits of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants? Nice map though.

Just as long as you didn’t scour the map looking for the planet Krypton.

For some reason Vodafone have placed the Cylon identification pic behind a 18+ filter. I rarely use my mobile as an Access Point but my ISP has been down for a few days, so I had no choice. Imagine my anticipation: What pornographic delights has David laid on for us....

I trust the disappointment wasn’t too crushing.
