Once again you’ll have to throw together your own pile of links in the comments. I’m sure that by now you know what to do. I’ll set the ball rolling with a new-fangled old fashioned, an interactive sewer map of San Francisco, a parental project for the weekend, and an innovative breakthrough in mid-day “stress relief.”
Play nicely. I’ll be checking in later.
Heh.....I'm all alone....
I wonder what's in David's cupboard......?....
Good Lord!

Apparently lots of lubricant is being shipped to Oregon.

Is it the map that's interactive or the sewer? :-)

"Apparently lots of lubricant is being shipped to Oregon."
Phew, disaster averted.
I'm on the first flight out.
Thank you kindly for the heads-up.

I . . . I need a drink.
You will find, young man, that the future looks rosier through the bottom of a glass.

Heh. Inspired. Though it’s not just masterful trolling. He’s putting a sizeable chunk of his own money into it and for a good cause. The reactions from our betters should be interesting. “But… but… he’s doing something generous and helpful for the wrong disadvantaged group!”
Though I can’t believe he missed the perfect opportunity for a very Milo joke.

I note the following phrase in the "stress relief" link:
". . .the corner of 28th Street and 5th Avenue has become the go-to place in NYC for fans of onanistic self-love."
Is onanism ever not about self-love?

a parental project for the weekend
Can I play with it yet Dad?
No.

PB&J-flavored Bourbon? I had assumed there was a law against such blasphemy.
It would seem I was mistaken. But then, the Brits have never had a proper appreciation of Bourbon, preferring that manky swill they call "scotch whiskey".

Flavored bourbon is a "thing" now; even Jack (which is not bourbon, it's better) offers several.
A fire breathing Dragon.
These are the thrusters they will use to land the vehicle on on land, without parachutes or expensive ocean recoveries.

Yeah my wife asked me what the hell I was laughing about after I read that, followed by this. I don't know how many times a week that guy makes me laugh with his antics..

You know that old saying, "You wait ages for one, and then three come along at once.”?
Here’s the second one now, apparently.
The Twitteratti are taking it as well as might be expected.

To put a little more realism into that weekend project, a coworker recently told me about Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator ( http://artemis.eochu.com ).
He first saw it at a local gaming convention, running on PCs, set up in an Enterprise-esque fashion complete with a captain's swivel chair in the center. The mobile app sounds cool, though I am not sure if it works between platforms.
