As so often with these displays, I had to check that it wasn’t some on-the-nose parody, but it’s quite sincere, and consonant with the lady’s broader worldview. Ms Byerley, who seems oblivious to what her tweets convey to the rest of us, is fond of the word “diversity,” the implications of which can perhaps be divined from the attitude above.

It has been noted before the similarities between the current SJW project and religious orthodoxy. It seems for Ms. Byerley, only Caucasians suffer from "total depravity" in the form of melanin deficiency. It is for her (and others like her) the Original Sin. Query, does she believe her "salvation" is a result of the "irresistible grace" afforded the "elect" like her, or is such grace "prevenient" and available to all of us if we can just see the light? When, then, is the altar call?

There were a lot of German faithful at Graceland when we visited. Additionally, there were quite a few flower arrangements from Germany at the Graveside. My wife and I developed a game: "European or Jackson, Mississippi?"
After we left, my wife--the very continental, European sophisticate--who was not enthused about my cultural diversion from our trip noted, "Well, that didn't totally suck."

I’m still processing the idea that someone sufficiently hysterical and dishonest to meet the expected standards of wokeness would be in a position to dish out “mental health supports.”
Speaking of dishonesty, or at least self-delusion, I don't think there are enough genuine "trans" people in Canada to fill all the billets for which they demand a "trans" person.
But are you woke enough to recognize that the 'homonormative whiteness' of LGBTQ Centers? I guess the LGBTQ centers are too gay. (And too white, of course, but that sort of goes without saying.)
I fear we are approaching critical mass of absurdity. Yet again, we find that the victim group du jour's distress is not predicated on any overt act of exclusion or discrimination, but upon the group's own internal emotional hang-ups. Thus a gymnasium open to all becomes a problem because it supports fitness thereby marginalizing the less-fit. Where they get the idea that the universe owes them a reality which caters to their emotional well-being at all times is not clear to me.
Yet again, we find that the victim group du jour’s distress is not predicated on any overt act of exclusion or discrimination, but upon the group’s own internal emotional hang-ups.
And is therefore insatiable. There’s no way to please the compulsively, competitively, neurotically indignant, and any effort to appease such creatures is likely to encourage further scolding and demands. As illustrated, for instance, here and here.
Thus a gymnasium open to all becomes a problem because it supports fitness thereby marginalizing the less-fit.
Regarding the gym,
The school gym can also marginalize LGBTQ students, Pryor discovered, saying that although the school gym is open to all students, it is not “not particularly accessible” for gay students because of the “pressure to be fit” and the “expectations of manliness.”
Let us pass over for a moment the fundamental absurdity of someone crying and blowing snot because he is troubled by the fact that a gym is a place to get fit, this guy seems to be pushing the stereotype that all gays should be delicate and effeminate, which, we discovered lately, is not an ideal.
This, however, raises idiocy to an art form.
After interviewing eight LGBTQ students, Pryor learned that Greek Life was a source of particular consternation, noting that the presence of Greek Life flags in the student center and the proximity of Greek houses to campus made some students especially uncomfortable.
One student, Jackson—identified as a queer, black, trans man—pointed out to Pryor the strong presence of Greek Life flags hung in the school’s student center.
“By featuring these organizations in such a visible way, the campus is communicating the importance of fraternity and sorority membership,” Pryor lamented. “What would it mean for the campus to hang all the LGBTQ pride flags in that space? Questions likely not considered in such a heterogendered environment.”
According to the UMKC website, only 6% of their students live in frats or sororities, so Jackson is FOS (to no one's surprise) if he is taking the vapors because campus organizations hang their banners in the student center, and personally I am shocked that a frat or soroity would dare locate close to campus, that is unheard of. If they had any decency they'd be in Raytown.
Wait till Jackson finds out there is ROTC on campus.
"If only she could reach out and touch their hair."
[Whispering] "They're absolutely fascinating in their natural environment. Shhhh! Careful, don't let them notice us or they might scatter and ruin this anthropological expedition."
I’m still processing the idea that someone sufficiently hysterical and dishonest to meet the expected standards of wokeness would be in a position to dish out “mental health supports.”
'Hey now, show us on the doll where the white patriarchy touched you.'
The school gym can also marginalize LGBTQ students, Pryor discovered, saying that although the school gym is open to all students, it is not “not particularly accessible” for gay students
He ought to try the CMG gym in Paris I go to. Sometimes I think I’m the only straight man in there.
@Tim N - I used to be a member of the YMCA gym in London. Same story.
Didn't notice any of the gays having a problem with 'manliness' either. Many of the lads there, if they were any more masculine they'd have to go and live up a tree.
Why in all the hells is 'support' pluralized? Is it some Brit/Canadian thing like 'maths' or yet another sample of the socjus fetish for loading down perfectly viable words with superfluous letters?
I spent some time in gyms while losing the 60 lbs. Everybody I had occasion to talk to was friendly. Some exercises require concentration or you'll hurt yourself. Maybe the complainant du jour mistook concentration for unfriendliness?
He could also try the martial arts. Martial artists and target shooters are the two friendliest groups on the planet, although the shooters like to talk about technical gun stuff, foot-pounds and trajectories and whatnot.
It’s not actually _our_ fault your education system is so defective that none of you appear to realise that as “mathematics” is plural, the shortening should be too.
As in arithmetic and algebra and calculus and graph theory and transifinite number theory and ... Plural.
Surrep, I prefer to think of it as we Americans choosing to abbreviate exactly what and as much as we like without irrational constraint. Abbreviating "mathematics" and/or "mathematical study" as "math" I'd call mere recognition that nobody in their right mind would ever say "a mathematic", a simpler reason for never recognizing the plural. It's a plural noun behaving much as a singular collective noun, and deserves to be treated as such.
It’s not actually _our_ fault your education system is so defective that none of you appear to realise that as “mathematics” is plural, the shortening should be too.

Trans person of colour???
What about the lefthanded Laotian lesbians huh? What about them you exclusionary b*stards?
It's interesting that in all lists of demands you will find things that boil down to 'give us money and 'jobs'.
Also (pet peeve alert) it's 'affected'. 'Impacted' as a verb is reserved for meteorites and artillery strikes, although in this case......
The Tapestry explicitly identifies them as FRANCI.
I've read an interesting article which argues that King Harold is actually two men over to the right, and that the one who appears to be struck with an arrow in the eye is actually holding a spear. The text is emended to "IN TERRA IACTUS EST" instead of "INTERFECTUS EST".
18th century engravings of the tapestry show that this section has undergone considerable reconstruction. The arrow in the eye may be one such, matching an account in Malmesbury, iirc.
I recommend an "observe, like, and share" approach because we whites ruin things

'homonormative whiteness' of LGBTQ Centers
I fear we are approaching critical mass of absurdity. Yet again, we find that the victim group du jour's distress is not predicated on any overt act of exclusion or discrimination, but upon the group's own internal emotional hang-ups. Thus a gymnasium open to all becomes a problem because it supports fitness thereby marginalizing the less-fit. Where they get the idea that the universe owes them a reality which caters to their emotional well-being at all times is not clear to me.

And is therefore insatiable. There’s no way to please the compulsively, competitively, neurotically indignant, and any effort to appease such creatures is likely to encourage further scolding and demands. As illustrated, for instance, here and here.

Regarding the gym,
Let us pass over for a moment the fundamental absurdity of someone crying and blowing snot because he is troubled by the fact that a gym is a place to get fit, this guy seems to be pushing the stereotype that all gays should be delicate and effeminate, which, we discovered lately, is not an ideal.
This, however, raises idiocy to an art form.
Oh well, it is UMKC, after all.

Just last week I was going to suggest "zookeepers" as a fitting term for the hierarchs of the egalitarian pecking-order establishment.
Hate to say this but Charles Murray has you beat by about 25 years. See the last chapter of The Bell Curve.

“Is it some Brit/Canadian thing like 'maths' ”

It's interesting that in all lists of demands you will find things that boil down to 'give us money and 'jobs'.
