I... er... don't... quite... know what to make of that. But hey, Kirstie Alley back when she was hot. Rrrrrr. (Even with the Spock ears.)
Anyhoo... Engine note of note. It still doesn't look particularly fast, mind you.

In a spirit of robust yet dignified inquiry, such as Americans saw today in the hallowed halls of our Congress, it’s time to bring out the truth at last.
David, who are the henchlesbians and how did they come to be in durance vile—I mean, in your employ?

We don’t talk about Papa Bear.
There were a couple of books out about 20 years or so ago where the nursery rhymes and such were rewritten as PC parody. I believe I had a Christmas version of one, not sure where it went. It’s all fun and games until these people start getting traction.

Primary teachers disproportionately white, Irish, and Catholic
It's dog-bites-man for an Irish newspaper to be shocked, or pretend to be shocked, that Ireland has more white Catholics than entropy would predict.
Another Dublin newspaper reported recently on the struggles of a black footballer growing up in a "white town" - an information-free adjective that rules out zero towns in an Irish context, but giving the reporter a chance to imitate a New York Times reporter sneering at the lack of racial diversity in Montana or somewhere.
But today's pretense is tomorrow's reality. After a generation of immigration, the Irish media class is starting to make the most of their emerging opportunities to stir up glamorous racial tensions and strike edgy anti-white poses.

I surmise that Trabi isn't a "stock" model. I remember the first time I saw one in the wild after the wall fell, when the "Ossies" still drove them around unironically. (Band name: "Unironic Trabi") The two-stroke engine sounded like someone was shaking a coffee can filled with nickles.

I surmise that Trabi isn't a "stock" model.
Indeed it isn't, stock is a mighty 26HP of thundering two cylinder two stroke power, with a 0-60 of something like 21 seconds, and a top speed of 62. Tuned they are credible rally cars mainly because they weigh nothing and have such a short wheelbase they'll corner like original Minis.

That was a marvelous time, when you'd still see the East Germans stumbling around the West with their eyes glazed over like a 13 year old who'd just been dropped into a strip club for the first time.
I encountered a Trabi on the A93 ca. 1990ish while I was driving the father-in-law's BMW on a trip home from France. It was Pentecost vacation and all of Europe was on the highway. I'm fat, dumb and happy at 160 km/hr when this Saxon idiot in a powder blue Trabi decides to show is manhood by mustering up 85 km/hr to pass the Dutch dude with the camper who's doing 80.
I learned the value of antilock brakes and many oaths were deployed.
Good times.

...Saxon idiot in a powder blue Trabi...
To be fair, they only came in five or six colors and I don't think you got a choice unless you wanted to wait another 7 years for your favorite color.
...the Dutch dude with the camper who's doing 80.
A German friend told me that Dutch with campers doing 80 clogging the Autobahn were their revenge for WWII.
Speaking of things blue...

A German friend told me that Dutch with campers doing 80 clogging the Autobahn were their revenge for WWII.
Truth.
Before we had kids and our vacations were determined by American school schedules, we'd usually visit the in-laws in early fall, which was the European Summer Vacation.
Jeez Louise on a mountain bike, the Dutch, with their under-powered cars and large campers are like [insert cuss word here] locusts. It would be fine if they stayed in the right lane, but by god, they've all got to try to pass someone on the autobahn.

Our captain, who art on the bridge
James T. Kirk be thy name
The Klingon is come

For thine is the Enterprise
and the power, and the glory
for ever and ever

“Our captain, who art on the bridge”
I don't know why the video didn't do it, but now I'm reminded of this:
Forsooth, a great disturbance in the Force
Have I just felt. 'Twas like a million mouths
Cried out in fear at once, and then were gone,
All hushed and quiet - silent to the last.
It's rather fun.
And yet thou canst not win, I'll warrant, Darth.
For if thou strike me down, e'en now, e'en here,
I shall more great and powerful become
That e'er thou hast imagined possible.

Nothing ever pleases Social-Justice Weenies. Apparently evil white man, Voldemort, evilly transformed an Oriental woman into his pet snake, and the SJWs are in an uproar. Because racism or somesuch: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2018/sep/27/jk-rowling-defends-decision-to-cast-south-korea-actor-as-nagini-in-fantastic-beasts.
Either the work is lacking in representation, or the representation is an example of wrong-think. There is no right answer. Well, "sod off swampy" is a good one, but not if you're trying to placate the beast. Better to not bother trying.
