She’s a lady.

So is that a male human? Or a female human taking steroids and pretending to be a male human?

Will this be on the test?

Morning, all.

Maybe you have to straddle and face the other way? :-)

For some reason, it reminded me of when you’re trying to get to your seat in a busy cinema: “Excuse me, sorry, excuse me…”

Do they have a race fetish?

The subject does seem to preoccupy them in a rather deranged way.

Even the parents of a lot of the BLM shouters are not old enough to remember 1969 and this anti-racist debut song by Blue Mink (fashion and hairstyles excused) and the concept of coffee-coloured people woulld be anathema to them.

What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough to take the world and all its got
And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee coloured people by the score

No, it wasn’t something I’d given much thought either. I’m now trying to decide whether or not the podophiles among us* will find it pleasing.

Civilisation has its ups and downs. We are currently in one of the downs, and it may last a long time. I have just been been watching episode 6 of Kenneth Clark's "Civilisation" (1969), broadcast before most of you were even thought of. This episode deals with the post-Reformation wars of religion, I think better thought of as outbreaks of madness reminiscent of today.

I was out of the UK when the programmes were broadcast, and decades later settled for the BBC book. The programmes are available on the Tube, but I was able to easily download the complete series from:

Darleen, what is most depressing is that this harpy is in a Science department. Perhaps it is time to point youngsters away from University, even Tech, and towards what I believe you call in the US trade schools. Even when the God-Emperor crushes the election (fraud permitting) this stuff is not going away.

Assuming that there are people who loved her, they get what little sympathy that can be squeezed out of my non-existent soul.

She, on the other hand, underlined Chief Asshole Justice Robert's proclamation that US Supreme Court Justices aren't political to be the steaming pile of dogshit that it was.

If she gets the send-off that that verminous swine McCain got, I will have to reconsider my desire to not disrupt the sorrow of those who might have actually known her. (McCain got a send-off roughly equivalent to that of President Abraham Lincoln. That's a spherical disgusting travesty; it's a disgusting travesty no matter how you look at it.)

Come on man, people are hurting...

So three things about this bug me.

1). What is it about being in a car that inspires people to give their political opinions? This is both a left and right phenomenon.
2) While I understand why phone cameras present a mirror image when using the reverse camera, why doesn't the default save mode simply reverse the image? Maybe for video I understand but still...
3). If she's so damned distressed, why doesn't she pull over? Are we supposed to believe this is spontaneous? Unless maybe it's a GoPro camera? But I doubt that since it's a reverse image...unless she's in Jamaica or some other Commonwealth island country. Seems unlikely but FBM if she stays there.

I'm seeing a bunch of American doofuses (doofoi?) threatening that if Trump nominates a replacement, they'll riot. Are they not aware of their comrades already having played that card, perhaps?

Darleen

Are they not aware of their comrades already having played that card, perhaps?

Well, rioting in certain areas HAS got them some of the things they wanted - "defunding police", $$$ to BLM, submission by CEOs and public genuflecting by the likes of professional sports.

I'm hoping these Copperheads keep writing/recording their threats. I seeing gold in political ads.

WTP

Darleen,
Exactly. Even I was surprised to see in stories about favorability of BLM dropping that they were still well above 50%. Granted I think polls are mostly BS but given the attitude that I see, the virtue signaling and such among many friends, ex-coworkers, and other associates it doesn't seem like it's that far off the mark. The vast majority of people in our society are worthless cowards IMNSHO. I'm thoroughly disgusted with most of the people I know. Especially the 'nice' ones. Even the moderately conservative reluctant likely Trump voter 'nice' ones. Regarding what Richard Cranium says above regarding hell, I myself am not especially convinced there is one (my theological beliefs are rather 'complicated' such that I don't even believe them myself) but if there is, and odds are likely I'll be in a room on the same floor as RC, I hope I at least get a window so I can watch the virtue signalers burn. Which is probably why that would be my destiny. But at least I'm (mostly) honest about it.

John

Baceseras

Dear fellow ephemerists: A few minutes ago, Jack Horner-wise, I stuck my thumb into our local library's catalog (online) and pulled up this plum -- being the 4th edition, 1808, of a booklet by W.L. Weems, published by Hobby & Bunce at Augusta, Georgia; the long title:

God's revenge against murder : or, The drown'd wife of Stephen's creek. A tragedy, as lately performed, with unbounded applause, (of the devil and his court) by Ned Findley, esquire, one of the grand company of tragedians in the service of the Black Prince, who was so highly gratified with Mr. Findley's performance that he instantly provided him rooms in one of his own palaces; created him a knight of the most ignoble Order of the halter; clapped bracelets on his wrists, and an ornament around his neck; and in a few days promoted him to the ridge pole of the gallows, at Edgefield Court-house, South Carolina
Relevance, if any, to recent observations concerning an afterlife, is purely coincidental.

Am I late to the ephemera? Very well, I am late to the ephemera.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-combating-race-sex-stereotyping/

Trump's latest executive order should be a joy to all classical liberals. It's short enough that you may want to consider reading it in full. It's been out for one day and the progressives are already wailing in ashes and sackcloth. Not only does it forbid them using government resources for critical racebait, it forbids federal contractors from engaging in critical racebait. If the order stands, it's going to do massive damage to the prog machinery.
