She fails to notice that the language of the Constitution was crafted to speak of "people", "persons", and "citizens". There is no mention of women. The only mention of men is in the 14th Amendment of 1868 (which granted full citizenship rights to former slaves), where it speaks of "male citizens" and then only to say that if a state denies voting rights to any citizens, that state's representation in Congress shall be reduced in proportion to the number of male citizens whose voting rights have been denied.

Why should they bother with legislatures? They haven't before. Laws are what lawyers and courts decide they are. This has been rather clear in the US starting since...oh...about 1942 and Wickard v. Such a move would teach conservatives that they must do the same when they have a majority, and so the nation would descend into a death spiral of retribution and violence. Is he too stupid to understand this? Or too unprincipled? Could be both--after all, he is an actor.

"what is a woman"--for most of human existence, people lived in extended families. Women had to have 5 kids for 2 to survive. They had to breastfeed because formula didn't exist. Men were essential to protect the family and hunt/farm. As a man or a woman in this system, there was no doubt what it meant to be male or female, even if you personally did not have kids. In modern society, we have become so fragmented. Especially young people seem completely unaware of normal family roles and dynamics. They are so singular that they are led to be unable to define male and female. And this leads to the absurdity that it is only the trans who are sure they know what the other sex is like, though perhaps unclear on what their own is like.
Contributing to this craziness is the Leftist obsession with words as more real than reality. If you intone "green energy" it will appear. If you say "I am a woman" you are one. If a professor you must pledge your loyalty to the woke oath (even in a grant proposal).
